    AB blogging pack

OK, I know we had a thread about this before but let's actually get organized

    First read Michaels post
    http://michaelmartine.com/2008/05/14...subscriptions/

Second, add your feed URL and Twitter account to this thread

Third we all subscribe to each blog and follow each Twittererer (I will do an OPML file when we have enough people join in to make it easy to subscribe to each)

Fourth we should each at random stumble, favorite and/or comment on a recent post from as many articles THAT WE ACTUALLY LIKE in the pack as we can manage

    Sound good?

We have around 1000 users of this forum, should give any blog a good boost if we all join in

    My URLs
    http://www.chrisg.com/feed
    http://twitter.com/chrisgarrett
    http://www.technorati.com/faves/?add...www.chrisg.com

UPDATE: 17 May 19:38 UK time

    Current OPML (v7) - last feed = chuck415
    http://www.authorityblogger.com/blog...k-feeds-v7.xml

Instructions: Right-click the link and "save as", then go to "import/export" in your feed reader and import it. Any probs shout me
I will check back later and add any I have missed. Please add your actual FEED url, not the address of your blog as it makes it easier for me to copy and paste.

Added: How to get the most out of the Pack

    1. Add the OPML to a new folder and MARK ALL READ - do not attempt to read everything, just watch as new stuff appears
    2. Audition, do not think everyone expects permanent residency in your feed reader! Same with Twitter, keep those who gel, lose those who do not
    3. When you have 5 minutes spare, go into your Blog Pack feed folder, pick a post at random and pay it forward with a stumble, comment or some other generous action.
    4. Keep up to date with the OPML so everyone gets a fair stab

I am working on ways to keep the momentum going but for now, thanks for the great response so far!

    Added:

Thanks for all the offers of help but right now I need to do this manually to keep out the undesirables (although of course I might miss some) - keep it safe for work please people

Jen is maintaining a list of Twitterers too!

    Chris,

Great idea! I'm always looking to get more involved in new communities of bloggers, and this is a perfect way to do just that.

If nothing else, it would get me to stick to my resolution of commenting on more blogs. Good idea, going by the gut feeling.

Add me on StumbleUpon just so I can keep tracks of your non-blog stumbles as well.

I'm not deluded enough to think that any of you "blogging bloggers" will have much interest in subscribing to DomestikGoddess.com or the beekeepers' blog but this should fit in with the pack:

    Nothing ventured, eh?

    Cool!

I follow and enjoy the folks mentioned in the original post, and do as much as I can to promote them without seeming too smaltzy.

Thank you for this great opportunity
