I just found out that VB (the software this forum is built with) has a referral system. (No laughing at the back, this is news to me )

Check it out in the system FAQ here

In the link above you SHOULD see a unique referral URL for this forum. It contains in the link your user ID. If anyone joins using that ID you get credit.

Eg. My link is http://forum.authorityblogger.com/in...p?referrerid=2 because my User ID is '2'

You can also see your user id in your avatars link (u=999 or something)

Whoever can send the most new registrations between now and my bed time next friday PM (GMT) will get ...

1. A guest post for their blog written by me
2. A thank you post and link on my blog
3. The respect and awe of your friends and peers

Does that sound like a good deal?

All I ask is that you don't spam or cause anyone hassle, but you are all lovely brilliant people so I am sure that would never happen!

I've gotta say, this is making it VERY hard for me not to leverage my other sites. I know I could get quite a few referrals fairly quickly but that kind of goes against my "anyone can do it" idea behind my blog... a quandary for sure.

I think I might have a decent idea... off to write!
