    Featured Blogger For May

This month we honor skinnyninja as our Blogger of the Month.

Patrick has been here since 2007, his goals with his blog fit the "authority blogger" profile that we so want to see.

Congratulations Patrick aka skinnyninja. Chris will be contacting you about your reward, and guioconnor will be directing you to your AB badge. Wear it on your blog with pride, as you are certainly a great choice for this month.

(And as a side benefit, he's from my home state. Yay Michigan! )

Congratulations, Patrick! You've come a very long way indeed, and I can't think of many who have worked harder to build the blog they've envisioned. Well deserved!

  6. WOW you guys, this is really a shock to me! Thank you so much for this recognition. I went ahead and put the AB badge on my sidebar, link included.

I'm pretty excited this week anyway because I just switched up to the Thesis theme, and I have to say it looks pretty sharp. I have been coding away at it using the "hooks" and not cheating at all! What an awesome theme....

Thanks again everyone. My plan is to turn Spiritual River into my brand, my career. It has been a sweet journey so far!

And I must say everyone here has helped me quite a bit over the last few years. I really appreciate all the advice....Jen, guioconnoer, Sue, and everyone else who has given me advice. It has made all the difference.

I also released a new ebook on my site too, I'm not sure how to promote it or if I should feature it in my sidebar or what. Currently it is just an instant download, no opt-in required.

So anyway I appreciate this, thanks again for all the guidance. This forum is golden....

Congratulations Patrick - Yeah Mr Hart has a point, you might want to load up an avatar as traditionally a few of us like to morph ours in tribute, and besides it helps us get to know you better

Let me know if you would rather have a Authority Blogger course membership, a consulting call or critique as your prize?

  10. Wow, I did not realize there was a prize involved...that is pretty exciting to me!

I would love a critique of Spiritual River.

In particular, I am wondering about long term strategies for the site....things like product development, writing a book, and so on. I'm also curious about long term monetization strategies as well.

I have no problem with taking the extra time and focus to develop something such as a quality ebook or something for the site. I have toyed around with video but I am not great at it.

Any insights you can give me would be great! This place has already helped me a ton, really.....
